Ground Up is a private label wholesaler specializing in coffee and tea across all formats. As a fast-growing company with a global footprint, we operate at the intersection of manufacturing, logistics, and consumer demand — where timing is everything and no two days are the same. The global supply chain is complex and constantly evolving, and we embrace the challenges that come with it.

We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator who’s energized by problem-solving, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is excited to navigate the unpredictability of international trade and logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Shipment Coordination:

  • Monitor inbound shipments across various transportation modes, maintaining real-time records in our ERP system
  • Proactively communicate shipment statuses and anticipated delivery timelines to internal stakeholders
  • Process, manage, and release customer orders from our domestic 3PL warehouses and arrange FTL/LTL freight through our transportation management portal
  • Troubleshoot logistics issues such as delays, damages, accessorial charges, or inventory shortfalls, and recommend corrective actions

Production & Inventory Management:

  • Align production schedules with forecasted demand and delivery timelines; regularly review plans with manufacturing partners
  • Monitor inventory levels across all locations and recommend replenishment based on lead times and usage trends
  • Assist with forecasting and purchasing decisions to meet targeted demand
  • Reconcile monthly inventory audits from 3PLs and investigate discrepancies

Documentation & Record Keeping:

  • Review and manage all shipping and receiving documentation such as bills of lading, ISF, packing lists, etc.
  • Accurately create and maintain transaction records such as purchase orders, sales orders, item receipts, fulfillments, and invoices

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
  • Strong facility with numbers
  • Proficient across all communication platforms (email, messaging, phone, and in person).

Preferred:

  • Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply-Chain, or related field
  • 1-2 years of corporate experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite/Oracle a plus)
  • Spanish or Portuguese language skills

Benefits

  • Performance-based bonuses
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401K and profit-sharing plan
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Supportive, collaborative culture — we value curiosity, accountability, and a can-do attitude
